Introduction

Rebeca (Becky) Harasimowicz is a Registered Patent Attorney at Summa PLLC in the Charlotte, NC area. Becky’s practice is primarily focused on patent drafting and prosecution, IP litigation, corporate IP counsel, and trademark law. Becky has worked with U.S. and foreign clients in the areas of biochemical innovations, microwave assisted chemistry, nuclear-magnetic resonance, and mechanical devices, among others. She has also drafted and prosecuted hundreds of U.S. and international trademark applications and successfully litigated various trademark and patent matters before the TTAB, PTAB, and federal courts.

Becky is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College where she earned her triple major in International Relations, Politics, and Biomedical Ethics, and of Wake Forest University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and School of Law where she earned her joint JD and MA in Bioethics.

In 2013, Becky served as judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Jimmie V. Reyna, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Washington, D.C.
